We won't have snow for much longer so we are enjoy We won't have snow for much longer so we are enjoying hot cocoa as much as possible. Nearly everytime we leave the house the kids request hot chocolate and marshmallows.

You can start teaching your family about their fam You can start teaching your family about their family history long before they can use a computer well. 

We wrote out five generations of names and have been mixing them up and finding their parents again and again. 

They are more than just names to me and they are becoming real people to my kiddos.

I've never had a big brother but if I did, I'd wan I've never had a big brother but if I did, I'd want them to be just like this kid. He's only 8 but he sets the best example to his younger siblings. He is so good at including them in his projects, even when he studies his scriptures. 

I'm grateful for the relationships my kids have with eachother.
Generally I choose books that focus on one culture Generally I choose books that focus on one culture, religion, country or race but today we read about a whole bunch of children around the world. 

I like to add these in our reading occasionally because they are easy to start discussions with kids about our differences and perceptions. 

For example, the Canadian page is nothing like our life. Is it bad or wrong, no way it's just not how we live as Southern Albertans. 

We also talked about simple things like transportation and how it looks different around the world.
