We are going to South Korea! Home to the Korean people, Tigers, fan dances and Kimchi. Next month the winter Olympics are going to be held in PyeongChang, South Korea. In honor of this world wide event we are going to spend a week exploring the culture, traditions and various other aspect of South Korea. It is going to be quite the adventure.
Thirty years ago, my Mom lived in South Korea for almost 18 months providing service and teaching the wonderful people there. She has many wonderful stories and experiences to share with us and I am so excited for the kids to hear about her adventures for the first time.
We would love to have you join us on a trip to South Korea. You can follow our daily adventures on instagram or under the hashtag #sbsl_korea or #sbsl_world.
This week will be trickier for you to follow along with because of the many souvenirs and personal stories that we have access to. You will still have a fun and engaging week so don’t get discouraged. In fact reach out to those around you and you might find a connection that you were not aware of before.
