My kids are thrilled about this weeks study! I have two boys that love pretending to be knights which means armor is right up their alley. Learning about the Armor of God will not only be fun but it will help prepare for future problems and give them the tools that they need.

Tuesday
Memorize Doctrine and Covenants
Today we are going to learn more about the specific purposes of each piece of armor and get dressed up. You can use official costumes or find items around your house that can “protect” your kids. Encourage your kids to become immersed in a story that they would need to use their armor to help them. If they need help getting started you could give them a problem situation and see what arises. If you are struggling with something specific, now might be a great time to work through a problem.

Having a Prophet on the earth to receive revelation for The Church as a whole is an incredible blessing. He can help us make choices to draw nearer to Christ and avoid a lot of confusion. In the next few weeks we will be hearing from the Prophet, Apostles and other church leaders at General Conference making now a wonderful time to talk about why having the heavens opened is so important to our daily life.
